Getting its name from sitting on the Alafia River.  Riverview has a charm unlike any other.  Still a quaint town on the river, close to Tampa and Brandon, local beaches, fishing and easily accessible to I-75, Crosstown Expressway and Hwy 301.  Two of the large subdivisions in the area are Panther Trace and Summerfield, both offering local schools within the community.

Future expansion of Hwy 301 will be to handle the new hospital proposed to be built on the south side of the Riverview area.  Other businesses such as Sam's Club has also been proposed into that area.  This growth will bring jobs that will undoubtably increase the value of homes in the area.
